I have a thing for artists working with the elements. Well known South African land artist Strijdom van der Merwe works with sand, rocks, wood and other natural materials he finds in the landscape he's working with. He transforms the natural sites into massive sculptures while using his trademark, geometrical forms. If you can't get enough of his work, his book, Sculpting the land, contains over hundred beautiful pictures and you can order it through his website.
This is also the kind of art i like a lot, using the materials provided by nature. I didn't know this artist so I will have a look on the site!
